Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Im a mom of 3 amazing children and recently decided to take a break from my full time career as a social worker with Alberta Health Services for the past 11 years and focus on my children. In doing so I have decided to open up a day home. My children are 7, 2 and 10 months old. My eldest has special needs (Down Syndrome) so I have been working with PT'S, OT's and Speech therapists since his birth and in doing so have learned alot about childerns development. Having this knowledge has been an advantage for my children and feel confident it will also serve as beneficial to the kids in my day home.

My goal is to provide a safe, fun, loving, educational environment for the kids in my day home. I believe in helping children grow through interactive positive play, building on and improving social skills all while helping build independence . Using my work and personal expereinces to foster childrens growth and development is what I now look forward to.

My home is a smoke free, pet friendly Bungalow on 4 acres of land so the kids have tons of room to run and play. Days will consist of interactive play, crafts and creativity, home cooked meals and healthy snacks, reading time and circle time, music time and quiet time.

Day home hours are 6 am to 6:30 pm
