Daycare description / philosophy

YeeHaw Play is now offering a Licensed and Pre-Accredited out of school care and KinderCare program for children ages 4 – 11 years old starting in September 2018.

The list of services includes school breaks and PD days, transportation to and from school and meals and snacks while attending the program.


Program Philosphy:
YeeHaws out of school and KinderCare program is designed with the following goals in mind:

-Creating a place where children are valued
-Children are viewed as a unique individual
-All staff show an interest in each child, calling them by name, communicating individually with them and listening to what they have to say
-All staff take time with the children so the children know that participating with them is fun
-All staff create an environment where the focus is on the interests and needs of children

Childcare Staff:
Operating a successful program is a team effort. Managers, child development supervisors, child development workers and child development assistants work together to produce a safe and fun experience where children can feel accepted, successful and energized.
All staff working in or with the program are required to have a minimum Child Care Assistant Certification, First Aid Certification and a vulnerable sector check, police clearance and back ground check.

The Facility:
Our facility is an 8000 sq ft indoor playground which allows the children to burn of some much needed energy after spending the day in a classroom environment. Children will also be provided with the opportunity to rotate through our activity station rooms.

At YeeHaw our staff strive to maintain a clean and sanitary facility. Each group will have daily designated time to enjoy the play structure as well as some quieter activities in each of the station rooms. Each room with have different options for the children to choose from and the rooms will change regularly to keep the children engaged and excited to experience the program when they come.
