Daycare description / philosophy

Welcome to Shining Stars Childcare! The goal of the program is to offer a safe and fun environment for children and also to provide opportunities for children to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually within a warm and caring atmosphere. Our program focuses on each individual, encouraging autonomy and self-independence in-group setting. Our program has a set schedule where children are able to enjoy indoor environment and outdoor environment. Shining Stars offers a wide range of open ended activities which encourages exploration and play and supports children’s learning in all areas of development. I believe each child is unique with an individual way and pace of learning. We also have a beautiful outdoor environment that has a playground with special areas where the children can learn about the different senses including a garden, sand area, water table and gross motor activities.
