Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Raven, I have a private Dayhome in the S.W. area of Glamorgan/Rutlandpark, Right near Mount Royal University. I offer a safe, loving, healthy, educational, and fun AP environment for your children to learn, grow, and play! I have been doing childcare in various forms for 15 years and love to be around children. I provide a natural wholesome lunch and 2 healthy snacks each day, depending on the hours your child is in my care. I am more than willing to accommodate cloth diapered children. I enjoy planning our activities according to your child's individual development, interests, and needs. Each day we enjoy many fun, stimulating activities. I like to focus on creativity, imagination and adventure. Nature is important to me and I like to incorporate items we have collected on our nature walks in the crafts we do. Our daily rhythm includes a daily circle time where we sing and tell stories. Other daily/ weekly activities include making crafts, baking, and visits to neighborhood playgrounds, nearby library and the Zoo as well as going to playgroup occasionally. I am only a 5-minute walk from Sir James Lougheed School, St. Andrew School, and Glamorgan elementary
