Daycare description / philosophy

This is private home-based premium facility serving Wentworth and neighboring communities like Cougar Ridge, Strathcona, and Aspen Woods.

In addition to my teaching experience, I carry 6 years of experience to run my own day home. I have three degrees (Bachelor of Education, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science). Child Development Supervisor Certified. Child Care First Aid and CPR certified. Police clearance check.

With child's overall development intention, my focus is to help children develop self-control and to learn appropriate social behaviors. I encourage children to have self-respect and respect to others. I put every effort in caring your child to earn your trust through safe and clean environment, generating curiosity to learn and providing physical and mental exercise through games and other activities. We do a variety of educational activities from learning numbers and alphabet, learning about the days of the week and months of the year. We practice our shapes and colors and do a variety of age appropriate crafts.

Weather permitting your child will get supervised playtime in large back yard and sometimes I will take your child to Play Ground, which is only a block away from day home. Children are indulged with nutritious breakfast, snacks and homemade lunch. All meals are healthy and follow the Canada Food Guide. Reference available upon request.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 7 am - 5 pm.
Age: 1 to 6 years.
