Daycare description / philosophy

Supernova Montessori Childcare is a fully licensed quality childcare just opening in the beautiful neighbourhood of East Burnaby. 'Nurturing Children with Loving Hearts' is our motto where we provide quality early learning and childcare experiences for the children of age 0 to 12. Our centre is in a very convenient location for parents to drop off and pick up, just between Canada way and Kingsway. It is in a fully fenced and safe compound in a brand new house just behind a beautiful children's park.

We offer safe, caring and loving educational environment to help your child's all round development. Our centre's philosophy is Montessori based, where children will be guided by an experienced Montessori certified teacher who has experience working in a blended philosophy environment (Reggio Emilia, ECE and Montessori). We believe that 'Each child is Unique and he/she comes with different interests and needs.' Hence, we offer equal opportunity to each child to choose the activity he/she enjoys, and help them accomplish their full potential.

Open ended arts and crafts, science experiments, nature walks, yoga, cooking/baking, circle time/discussions, music and movement, games, etc will be the highlights of our daily program.
We are open from Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 5.30 and will offer evening/ weekends childcare if needed (subject to additional charge).
We also offer healthy/ nutritious snacks two times a day (morning and afternoon) for the children but the lunches should be provided by the parents.
