Daycare description / philosophy

Alpha Bees Childcare Centre is offering an infant/ Toddler , fun-filled, loving, positive, and nurturing learning environment, catering to the needs of children aged 3 months to 3 year olds.
We provide high quality childcare for the families living in the Tri-Cities area, although we have children who attend our Centre but reside in Surrey or Abbotsford. In addition, our staff at Alpha Bees are highly professionals, hold all required qualification, and have years of experience in childcare field.

Our daycare is primarily interested in offering a program planned so that children may experience creative, active play, experimentation with various materials, achievement, friendship and self discipline.

How children spend their days:

Through play, experiences, and the guidance of staff trained in Early Childhood Education, we offer the children an opportunity to:

Develop a healthy body through safe supervised play
Expand the imagination through dramatic play in the dramatic centre, block area, etc.
Explore a variety of materials and time to experiment with them
Experiment with music, science, access to books and games
Acquire basic skills to prepare them for kindergarten (i.e., Phonics, Math, Geography, French, etc.)
Learn cooperation, sharing and taking turns
Make friends with children and adults
Participate in intergenerational programs (Kids Crafts & Vets, music therapy, gardening)

Orientation:

New families are encouraged to visit with their child to become familiar with the program, teachers, and peers. A scheduled 2 hour visit will be planned prior to your child's admission for your child to get accustomed to being dropped off at the Centre.

All paperwork must be completed prior to your child's admission. Paperwork will be provided at your parent tour. A payment process must be discussed prior to admission to the program.
