Daycare description / philosophy

*** One Full time space available starting September 2012.

I am a warm and nurturing mother of an 18 month girl. I am an Early Childhood Educator with my Infant Toddler Certification, cefa certification and Trained in the Wind and Tide and Fun Family Phonics curriculum. I have 15 years experience in group child care and have just recently started my own program. I have excellent references that I am happy to share with you.

I am a Registered License Not Required Daycare with Child Care Options of Surrey, which will allow me to accept government subsidies. I have completed my Emergency Child Care First Aid/CPR and have clear criminal record checks for myself and my husband.

Your child's day will be semi-structured to include play, learning time/circle time (age appropriate crafts, reading, baking etc.), quiet time, and outdoor play. We will also be make regular trips to the Strong Start program at Bear Creek Elementary, Stay and Play at Newton Wave Pool and Library Story times at the public libraries.
We have many toys for all ages. Children are encouraged to use their imagination and most importantly, have fun!

We live in a friendly neighbourhood in which there is a playground within a short walking distance. We get outside every day. You might find us playing in the back yard with water or toys, drawing on the sidewalk with chalk or maybe just taking a walk around the neighbourhood.

My fees include all meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and milk. I also cover any field trip costs.

My daycare is open from 7am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. Ages 6 months - 5 years.

All children welcomed into my childcare are always treated with love and respect. At the end of the day your child should leave my care feeling happy and with a good self-image that makes them feel important and cared for.
