Our Philosophy

At Joys & Smiles ....The Learning Place, we believe a child is a beautiful gift to mankind and it is our moral duty and obligation to give every child a good, healthy, eco-social, emotional, intellectual and physical environment in order to assist in the child's complete growth and development. We truly believe that if a child's foundation is strong, the long term effect is going to be apparent when the child turns into an adult -both in his personal life and professional as well. A weak foundation will lead to his failure or not too successful in life!

Fees are calculated according to 20 days a month basis
-Discount for siblings
-Drop-ins are welcome
-Drop -Ins packages available for regular drop-ins
-Summer camps available for Jul/Aug2012,to help parents when schools are off and parents are not!( Call to inquire about Summer Camps)
-Special Discount Package for Summer Camps* ( Call to inquire)
-Emphasis on developing the Social*Physical*Intellectual *Creative*Emotional (S.P.I.C.E) of your child
For quick registration,bring the following:
picture of your child
-pictures and DL number of person who would be picking up your child( if it is not you)
-IMMUNISATIONS RECORD OF YOUR CHILD
-YOUR KIDS FOOD-BREAKFAST,LUNCH ,EVENING SNACKS
COMFORT KIT
It is our policy that each child has a "Comfort Kit" on the premises, to use in emergency situations. This kit is to be provided to the center during the first week of your child's enrolment.
"Comfort Kits" should include the following (in a zip lock bag):

 A letter from mom/dad explaining that due to the situation, you are unable to get them, but the staff will take care of them until their parents come
 A recent picture of the family
 Clean underwear and socks
 A small toy or blanket, new or one the child is fond of
 Medication that your child uses regularly, but is not stored at the Center (with instructions for dosage)

SUMMER CAMP INFO
Summer Camp (July and August)
Joys& Smiles Summer Camp begins July 9th and ends August 31st. Parents have the flexibility of enrolling their child for July and/or August and can also choose any 5 days or more in both or either month to register.

Fees: $40 per day. Please multipy the number of days in camp to find your total fees.( MINIMUM 5 DAYS REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
Post Dated Cheques: (Cheque dated May 1st) to cover days in July. (Cheque dated June 1st) to cover days in August.
Deposit: A deposit of $100 is required to join the summer program. This deposit is 100% refundable September 1st, provided you do not withdraw from the summer program after registering.

Withdrawal or Reduction of Days
- 2 months notice must be provided in writing (email) to withdraw from the program or reduce your days.
- Notice of withdrawal or a reduction of days will not be allowed between
July 1, 2012 - August 31, 2012 or after March 1, 2013, due to the small class size and demand for the program.
- A $100 charge will be required to reduce your schedule.
