Title: Opening a not licensed daycare
Post by: Galja21 on January 18, 2014, 03:18:03 PM
Hello.
I want to open my own not licensed home daycare.
I have so many questions that I don't get answered online.

Well here are my questions. And I appreciate any help I can get

1. How do I register my daycare name? Do I have to have a daycare name if I'm not licensed? I would love to have a name.

2. I want to be able to give out receipts to the parents because I want to give them the opportunity to tax it at the end of the year. Do I have to have a daycare name if I give out receipts?

3. How do I pay taxes on my "pay checks"? How does this taxes thing work?

Any other informations that you think would be helpful is greatly appreciated.

Thank you already for your help

Day care is serious and profitable business, so I advise you to contact an accountant that specializes in day cares to do all the work for you properly, I can suggest a very good accountant in Montreal, Costa 438-804-5475

I will also open a private dayhome in Calgary, is there anyone here who can help and give some information how to start? What are the documentation, things to do before starting up? Your information is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
