Title: Breastfed baby risk investigated
Post by: Laura on February 17, 2009, 04:50:41 PM
Here's an article that discusses the controversy about breast feeding and newborns.

Doctors are launching the first study to establish how many breastfed babies fall dangerously ill after failing to take in enough milk.

That is why new nursing mothers should attend breast feeding clinics, get VON or public health nurse visits, and join the local la leche league...and any other supports they know of. Nursing is still best for baby!!

This is crazy. Breast is always best. Mom's of babes not getting enough milk can get help to improve milk transfer and supply.
