Quality Home Care in East York
« on: September 26, 2011, 06:53:18 PM »
Quality, home-based childcare provided by two certified and Registered Early Childhood Educators. Located in a smoke and pet-free environment within the East York area of Toronto. Both ECEís are trained and certified in CPR/First Aid and have a clear police reference check. Both have worked previously in licensed childcare settings (with WoodGreen Community Services) for more than five years.

Children will learn through play-based, emergent curriculum which will include activities that foster development in all areas (Cognitive, Social, Emotional, Communication/Language and Physical). Our home care follows the ELECT (Early Learning for Every Child Today) framework. Our daily routine consists of a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, two separate outdoor periods, planned activities which include art, science, and music/dance, free play, circle time  and occasional trips to local schools, parks, community centres, fire hall, police station, etc.

We are located at Greenwood and Cosburn and our hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00pm. The cost is: Infant (under 12 months) $60/day, Toddler/Preschool/Kindergarten $50/day, School Age (grade one and up) $40/day. We accept ages 0 - 10 years and will walk children to and from local schools (Diefenbaker and McGreggor). Spaces are available immediately.

Contact Krista at or 416 731 9038 for details or to arrange a visit. Also, feel free to visit our website at to read more about us, and view pictures of the space.
