To immunize or not?

In today's society we have the choice due to personal or medical reasons to immunize or not immunize our children. What would you do?

Our almost 13 year old didn't have the choice (they didn't have it back then - and she got chickenpox at 4 anyways!) but our 2 year old had it as it was part of her vaccine at 18 months, I believe.

Any side-effects? The concern is that they are actually injecting a weaker strain of live bacteria. There is no guarantee that the vaccine will even be effective.

I will prefer to immunize or to increase the immunity of my child. Because no-a- days every child should have higher immunity.
