What to charge for part-time?
« on: June 26, 2013, 08:55:10 PM »
I'm starting a home daycare and i was wondering what to charge for part-time. I have a woman inquiring about p/t and she wants 3 days a week every other week. I'm not sure if this is a good arrangement. Could someone tell me if this would be a good arrangement or should because it seems like i would be losing money that way.

From my experiences, part time only 3 days a week every other week means you are losing the ability to have a child with you on those days.
It only works out if you have some one that has a child coming on the 'off' days.

It may be better for the person to be looking at a casual babysitter instead of daycare

I have read from other providers that they charge a bit more for p/t care.
