Parents are taking a second look at what they use to keep their children clean and dry.

Reuseable diapers are making a comeback in some households for economic, environmental and health reasons.

The days of handwashed white cotton diapers held on baby bodies by large pins are gone. They’ve evolved into colourful prints with cotton or hemp liners secured by velcro straps.

Tim Baxter wasn’t quite sure at first when his wife suggested they use cloth diapers instead of disposables on their two children.
