Starting a Unlicensed daycare in MB
« on: August 13, 2010, 10:16:46 PM »
Hello,

I am wanting to start a unlicensed daycare in winnipeg but I have a ton of questions and cannot seem to find the answers online...Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How many kids can you have in your daycare
Can you use things that are bought for the day care as tax write offs…
Does insurance cost alot...is it needed ...
What are going rates…

Please help with these questions and anything else you think I should know. Thank you in advance!

HEy, Im going to do the same thing here, I live in Winnipeg.
I asked the same questions too.
Your only aloud 4 kids(including your own), I know that sucks. :(
rates for in home daycares go from 25-30 a day.
For me im doing under 2 will be 28
for over 2 will be $25
You can inlcude everythign i nyour taxes that ahs to do with your daycare.
Like if you buy a computer that helps with your daycare. toys, activity stuff, ect.
