encouraging independance
« on: February 13, 2008, 12:08:01 PM »
Late Toddler time is a good time to start to foster independance. Children at this age can begin to assist with tidy up time (a song always helps, and you can physically help a toddler learn how to tidy up) They can start to put on own shoes and boots adn learn to put on a coat..and should be encouraged to do so too!

The 'just turned two's ' are so funny and enjoyable!  When they come to get their older siblings from preschool they all come right in, very soical and everyone of them goes straight for the sensory toys, then the dolls!
