Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

The goal of the daycare is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children that encourages peace, co-operation, multiculturalism, learning and creativity, and where children have opportunities to learn, explore, discover, make friends, and have fun.
The Downtown Daycare is a non-profit; parent-owned daycare co-operative located in the new Peace Centre, which will house over 17 non-profit organizations from our region. The daycare will offer spaces for children from ages 15 months to 4 years as well as an after school program for children ages 5 to 12 years old. As a co-operative the owners of the daycare will be the parent members of the co-operative, while the daily operations will be conducted by highly trained staff members of the First Step Worker Co-operative. Our Staff are trained in CPR/First Aid, and have a Criminal Record Check done. Soon to come a Preschool Program if it interests you then call now while spaces last.
