Daycare description / philosophy
Passionate about little ones and motivated to assist them in reaching their limitless potential. I am looking to add 2 bambinos to my home day care. I am an Educational Assistant who has an amazing 19 month old daughter home with me when I am not working for the school board.
I am available for part time care (2 to 3 days per week). I speak 4 languages (French, Spanish & Italian) and incorporate these through music, books and general learning activities at home with my daughter. I worked as a naturopath before I was in childcare, so we eat mostly organic or locally grown food and free range or organic meat and protein. The kids are provided with a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins as well as dairy products through my meal plan.
As an Educational Assistant I have learned to be very flexible and adapt the learning style to each unique student I work with. I have a clean home (as well as pet and smoke free) with various activities, toys and teaching tools for babies on. I am right next to Greenore park and have a sandbox, swings and more in our spacious yard. We do lots of nature walks, picnics, yoga, dance parties, teddy bear repair work shops, baking, learning to tidy up, potty training, sleep training, letter & number recognition, phonemic awareness through games and so much more.
If this seems to suit your needs, please reach out through email, phone or text. I would be happy to talk, answer questions or see if this could be a good fit for your family.
All the Best!
Tina
