Daycare description / philosophy

Nestled in the heart of Ajax (Harwood Ave and 401), the CozyQ is home to an RECE with seven years experience in early childhood education, C Level CPR and first aid trained, and Proton Certified (food handlers safety certification).

I am a mother of a ten month old baby girl. Like many parents, I want my child to be cared for by a person who is dedicated to the safety and well being of my little one.

As a mother, I want your children to be cared for in the same loving and qualified manner that I provide for my own child. The CozyQ could be your child's home away from home.

My first years as a professional were dedicated to learning all I could about giving children the chance to explore the natural world and community around them.

The teaching approach that I came to practice was reggio amilia. The reggio approach values the child as the leader of their own learning, treating them not as empty vessels that need filling, but persons who already have much to provide to the world and its exploration.
