Daycare description / philosophy

As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to entrust your children to someone else's care, I am also sensitive to the financial burden that big daycare centers can create.

My goal as an Early Childhood Educator, is to provide an educational and fun way to nurture and encourage all of your child's developmental goals.

I graduated from Algonquin College with my diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2002, I have worked in a variety of center positions ranging from junior infant groups to school-age programs. I did take time to raise my three girls, and have been running my home daycare since March 2009.

Now to give you a little bit of an idea of my programming. As a parent I know that the first years of a child's life are the most important, and the biggest goal is getting your baby ready for school! Although, it seems a long way off, trust me, the basics are set into motion as early as your baby's first steps......

I like to keep a variety in my program, structured learning time, with alot of exploring and fun. After all, no one can keep a child interested in learning if the lesson isn't engaging and set to their level of development.

Since I tend to have a variety of age groups and interests in my daycare, our days are always exciting!
