Daycare description / philosophy

I'm the mama of a joyful 17-month-old boy and we are excited to make a new friend.

I believe that children should not be manipulated through fear and intimidation, rather it is my job to provide a safe and secure environment where they can feel comfortable exploring and making mistakes. I believe in teaching little ones to experience life as an active participant rather than a passive observer. It's about getting outside and learning about the world around us, engaging in art, movement, music appreciation and games to stimulate thinking and creative problem solving.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided. Nutritious, home made meals and snacks made with fresh, organic ingredients.

Parents to provide diapers and for any special dietary needs.

Our home is baby proof with fire extinguisher, working smoke alarm, first aid kit and carbon monoxide detector. I'm located in a family-friendly neighborhood within walking distance of several parks. We attend early year centre programs and go swimming occasionally at our local pool. Our backyard is very large and fenced in with age appropriate toys. We have no pools or ponds.
