Sandra's Twinkling Stars Home Daycare is a place to shine with bright horizons!

A loving, nurturing and energetic mother with a passion of working and caring for children. I have my ECE and have also completed the York Region's Home Childcare course. Both my husband and I are certified in CPR and First Aid including child and infant.

My daily routine includes a balance between free play and organized activities. Each day will include a variety of activities focusing on sensory stimulation (baking, playdoh, finger painting, bubbles, sand and water etc), creative activities (arts and crafts), dramatic play (dress up, puppets), outdoor play in non inclement weather (backyard, walks, park, sidewalk chalk, snow etc), circle time (songs, musical instruments, story time, dance, discussions about weather etc) quiet time and more. We will also enjoy daily or weekly themes that our activities will focus on. For example an animal, colour, flower, number, alphabet letter etc. We will also have FUN FRIDAYS which will be movie day. Each child will have a chance to pick a movie from our collection of educational and Disney movies on alternating weeks.

I provide nutritious snacks and lunches following Canada's food guide. Nutrition is so important for our growing children for development, good eating and sleeping habits, good behaviour and energy.
