Daycare description / philosophy

Hello, my name is Megan and I have been operating a home childcare for the past 2 years and love every minute of it.

I have 8 years of childcare experience as a preschool teacher, toddler teacher as well as school-age children. I have worked for SEEDS Childcare in Barrie (which I sadly left to move to Orangeville) and at Oromocto Daycare in New Brunswick.

I provide an environment where your children will feel safe, loved and most importantly happy. I offer daily stimulating activities to further enhance development in all areas (fine motor, cognitive, gross motor, sensory, creative, social...), weekly themes, celebrations, nutritious meals and much more. My home is smoke-free, close to schools, parks and in a great neighbourhood. I can provide references and receipts if requested.

My daily fee per child is $40.00

I am First Aid and CPR trained (my licence expires in two years).

There is a very friendly and extremely gentle dog in the house whose shots are up to date. Roxy is a 7 year old lab/weimaraner mix.

I will be supplying the morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The menus will be available to bring home and follow the Ontario Food Guide.
