Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Quality Care Provided Off of Ardagh Rd between Essa and Ferndale. Close access to Hwy 400. Full and part time spaces available.
I am a stay at home mom of 2 young children and have a diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in the field for over a decade including several licensed child care centres.
I provide healthy snacks that follow Canada's Food Guide. Daily circles, storytimes, creatives, and songs. I provide lots of opportunities to explore the great outdoors with neighbourhood walks, visiting local parks and playing in our own fenced in backyard (including a small pond with lots of frogs). I encourage children to feel good about themselves and help to build a positive self esteem, and help children build strong social skills through sharing, communication and cooperation. I help children prepare for school with printing, reading, phonemic awareness, basic concepts (colours, shapes, alphabet, numbers, etc), simple science and math and much much more.
