Daycare description / philosophy

Hello and Welcome to Kidd's Daycare!!

I am a mother of 2 wonderful children and I love being a home daycare provider. At Kidd's Daycare I truly believe that children learn best through play. Here the children are provided with the opportunity to play in our basement (which has been designed solely for the daycare) as well as our backyard which has a play structure and many other outdoor pieces of play equipment. We also enjoy going to the play park which is just a 2 minute walk down the street. We try to spend as much time outside enjoying those activities and the fresh air (weather permitting).

I provide each child with 3 meals (morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack). I do my very best to ensure the 4 food groups are met as well as try to provide the children with homemade meals.

On a daily basis the children get to try the hand at a craft which I gear towards the theme for our month. Some of our monthly themes have included animals, dinosaurs and spring.

I do have a valid police check, as well as a current Standard Level C First Aid and AED certificate.
