Daycare description / philosophy

Hi, my name is Tricia. I am a mother of 2 boys and stepmother to 2 girls ages 2-13. I have provided care for close to 10 years.

We spend as much time as possible outside and learning through experience and the world around us, always using real life to learn in a tactile way. We walk to the the school each day, play at the park, go for walks, story time, numbers & letters of the week, LOTS of crafts and free play and planned playdates with friends in the neighbourhood.

I have always believed that it takes a village to raise a child and I will be sure to welcome your child into my family and help them to grow and understand the world around them for as long as they are with me.

I also always stay within the limits of the standards for childcare, 1 provider to 5 children with only 2 under 2.
