Daycare description / philosophy

Busy Bees home daycare is a place created with little ones in mind and I am opening the doors to new little friends to join me in our creative and fun days!

Our daily routine will be filled with craft, story time, songs, sensory activities, baking, indoor and outdoor play, walks, nature exploration and basic learning activities to learn colours, shapes, patterns, numbers and letters and so much more! We have different themes, such as Fairy tales, Under the sea, Harvest, Jungle Explorer etc. In summer we have our own little vegetable patch and go on nature exploration trips to look for bugs, stones and whatever catches their curiosity. I have a large playroom with lots of toys, a reading corner, craft area, dress-up area, and lots of space to play.

I realize that each child has their own needs and I will take the time to teach them independence in a nurturing way with plenty of encouragement given along the way. We learn to share, take turns, use our manners, explore, aren’t afraid to get messy as part of learning, celebrate each child’s birthday and holidays and have a lot of fun along the way.

I provide nutritious snacks and meals and parents will receive daily emails to let them know about their child’s day. I will also take plenty of pictures so parents can see how much fun the children had.
I have a clean police check and I am CPR and first aid trained. Our house is smoke free and pet friendly.
