Daycare description / philosophy

Hello, I am a registered ECE with a Child Studies BA who has 2 openings starting Sept 2016. I have a spot for a child under 2, and a spot for a child over 2. (or 2 spots for either age group).

I am a mother of two young children and have decided to stay home and provide care to others for almost three year now. As a mother I know what it is like to find the appropriate program for your child or children. You want to find somewhere you and your child will love. I, too, wish to find that same fit for my family. I hope that my home daycare, 'ËœA is for Apple' will be that right fit for everyone.

With several years of experience working in daycare centres and working with children of all ages, I know how important it is to run a well balanced program to help promote growth. I provide a daily routine which helps give children a sense of time and consistency. I provide a variety of open ended, age appropriate and play based materials/activities such as arts/crafts, music and movement activities, free play, storytelling, circle time, calendar, dramatic/sensory, and outdoor play. We have a lot of fun together!! I have a great group of kids and parents.

Healthy, balanced meals as per the Canadian Food Guide will be provided (1 warm lunch, and 2 snacks). I have completed a Police reference check, First Aid and CPR.

My daily rate is $43.
