Daycare description / philosophy

Dear Parents, I’d like to introduce myself...my name is Leanne McAllister. I am a home child care provider affiliated with a licensing service, with 9 years of experience. I am also a proud Mom of two wonderful Children. Over these past 9 years, I have enjoyed the opportunity to spend my time with many children in my community, providing them with a safe, smoke free, home-like environment while away from their loved ones.
Monkeytown Home Day Care is situated on a beautiful 1.5 acre treed lot in a friendly new development, just off 10th line in Carleton Place, conveniently only 4.4 km to Hwy 7.
Your children will love monkeying around with friends on the play structures, in the sandbox, and in many interesting play areas around the property. They will go on walks in a country setting where they can explore their environment.
The children will enjoy daily circle-time, stories and crafts, and free play in a fully equipped playroom. My goal is to help your children learn fundamental skills that will help them be confident and be prepared for the introduction to school, while still allowing them to be kids and learn in play.
Your Children are provided with 2 healthy snacks and a lunch, containing a variety fruits and vegetables (some from my own garden). Of course they will get a treat now and again, just because!
I'm First Aid/CPR certified and have a current Vulnerable Sector Security Check.
