Daycare description / philosophy

Welcome to Tita Grace's Day Care! Open now with 2 spaces available for children over 2 years of age.

Childcare has been a passion for 10+ years. I have cared for newborns to toddlers as well as special-needs children.

I have a large fully fenced backyard with 3 large parks within minutes walking distance. Unless the weather forecast calls for rain, there is play every day in the back yard, at parks or play groups! Winter or rainy days will bring indoor fun, laughs and learning with story time, dancing, singing, and arts & crafts. Play-based learning and free play will offer something for everyone.

Nutrition is a priority at Tita Grace's Day Care. I provide a nut-free well-balanced diet with breakfast, lunch and snacks that meet Canada's Food Guide. Parents will always be given a food record for their child when picking up each day!

I hold valid First Aid/CPR certification for infants/children and a Vulnerable Sector Police Record check. I am a registered Daycare Provider with Child Care Providers Resource Network (CCPRN) http://www.ccprn.com.

This is a smoke-free/pet-free environment with lots of space and room to play with a separate quiet sleep room for children. All toys are cleaned/disinfected weekly or sooner if needed. ;)

I am centrally located in Carleton Place (right across the street from Arklan Elementary and Child Care).
