Daycare description / philosophy

Hello all, my name is Nikko Hepditch. I am a mother of a 6 year old son named Hayden and a 4 year old daughter named Addison and a 16 week old baby, my oldest goes to school everyday and my 4 year old goes part time. I have always wanted to be a mother and absolutely enjoy it. So because of the love I have for my own kids, I wanted to open my home to other little ones who need daily care.

We live in a clean, smoke free home which is completely toy equipped and still growing. The play room is located on my main floor so I never need to be away from the children for such reasons as using the washroom or to prepare lunches. I do provide a variety of lunches hot and cold, as well as snacks and beverages. My hours of operation start from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm. We live in a nice area which has two large play grounds near by (Bloor/Townline). Also I am First Aid/CPR Certified and have my criminal record checked. My home is equiped with a changing table on the main floor for infants, I also have nap areas in my upstairs bedrooms with montiors so I can hear the infants. Our daily activites range from walks to the park, colouring, painting, activity learning books, reading, free play, music, backyard/driveway play and when possible day trips to such places as McDonalds play land and Library. Please also note that I am completely legitamate and provide weekly receipts.

I also want to let you know I am a proud owner of a Chocolate Lab who is 7 years old. She is a great dog, and I know for some parents a dog can be a concern, but I just want to educate some who know nothing about dogs. Labs are fantastic with children, they do not bite or bark at them, they allow the children to pull their tails and ears, sit on them and they never react (as you can see my daughter on the left doing). My dog was in puppy school when I was pregnant with my first born and we prepared her by doing all of the above. The only time my dog truly interacts with children out of her own accord is when she knows that they are dropping food from the table.
