Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Sarah and I have over 15 years of childcare experience. My background is in both Early Childhood Education and Administration. I believe that children learn through play and socialization. I will provide them with structure yet flexibility and most of all FUN! *Open, bright, main floor playroom. *Clean, organized and childproofed. Toys are sanitized daily. *Age appropriate programming. Circle Time, storytime, puzzles, music, songs and fingerplay, arts and crafts, baking, playdough. *Fun, educational and loving environment. *Large, fenced in backyard for outdoor play equipped with sandbox, sensory table, ride on toys, slides, climbers and water table. *Walks daily (weather permitting). *Nutritious meals. Hot lunch and 2 snacks served daily which include all of the food groups. Organic produce, lean meats, and whole grains served whenever possible. *Smoke free, pet free and air conditioned. Our days are spent playing, learning, and having fun. I believe that children learn through play. I provide them with the age appropriate toys and activities to learn and grow and become independent. I like to keep our days structured, yet go with the flow. My goal is to be your child's home away from home. My clients become like members of the family. I am pleased to provide a safe and happy place where children can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially through play with their peers.
