Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Happy Hearts Home Daycare is located in Delhi, Ontario.
We currently have one full time spot for a child under 3, and one full time spot for a child over 3 for summer vacation.

I have CPR/First Aid training, as well as police clearance. I hold an Educational Assistant Diploma from Mohawk College. I have recently just resigned from supplying with the Grand Erie Board, as well I have several years experience working in a special needs intergrated preschool in Calgary. I have run my own home daycare for about two years before moving home to Ontario.

I have two children of my own, four years and almost a year. My oldest son will be attending Delhi Public School this September, and I can offer a few spots for before and after school care for children attending this school.

I do run a preschool curriculum for the children, which includes themed calendars, crafts, experiments, fine motor and gross motor practice, as well as themed meals. We have weekly visits to the local library, eary years centre, and park as long as weather permits.

Children learn best through play and experimentation. I allow the children the means to express themselves and experience things in their own time, while still providing guidence and direction.
