Daycare description / philosophy

After more than 20 years of operation, I have decided to close my daycare (as of May 2021). Thanks to all the parents and their wonderful children for the patronage and the wonderful memories they left on my hearth. _____________________________ I am a bilingual English-Spanish(South America) provider, with a 5-year degree in Early Childhood Education (1991). Since graduating I've been working both as a Kindergarten Teacher or a daycare provider, with over 20 years of experience. I have a daycare at my home providing a nurturing and loving environment for children ages 0-6 years, and a structured learning program for infants and toddlers, also offering drop-off and pick-up from school (Gledhill). I have first aid, CPR, Police check, and ECE training. I love kids, and that's the reason I chose ECE as my career. Education is a very rewarding, although challenging profession, and the chance to make a difference, and to see it on the face of the kids under my care, is a beautiful way to spend my days. I believe in caring with discipline, and instilling values early on so that kids will grow up to be great people.
