Daycare description / philosophy

My name is Jo-Ann; I'm a private home daycare provider. I enjoy working with children; children in my care will have the well-being/safety and education needed for each age group. I follow the guide lines on the ministry. Teach and directing each child to learn from each other. Social skills, fine motor skills, large motor skills and Cognitive.

JO-ANN'S HOME DAYCARE IN EMBRUN.

I am a professional childcare provider who has been operating since 2009. I left the child care agency at the end of April 2015, we had decided to find a larger home and backyard for my daycare business. Now we are presently renovating the space for our daycare and will be opening as of June 15, 2015. I will be interviewing families the first week of June. My email address will follow with the ad.

I have my First Aid/ CPR/ Police Check and many certificates taken through my agency. I'm very strong with the new program offered through the agency and the Ministry of Ontario "Elect" it offers the children Social Emotional, Motor Skills, Large Motor Skills and Cognitive (will be explained during interview), I also have many different sensory bins for the children to learn and experience through touch, feel, smell and more. I follow a very routine schedule, I've experienced in my years; helps children learn to adjust to new changes in life. I enjoy the outdoors and believe children need plenty of outdoor activities for a healthy body and mind. We follow the Canadian food guide and I prepare all meals myself. We do plenty of crafts, songs, dancing and imagination play. My home will offer plenty of indoor activity space, fence back yard with many structured activities, air conditioning home,. I will be looking to place two children under two, and three over three and possible before and after care. My hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
