Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Heather's Half Pints is located in Fergus, within walking distance to JD Hogarth, the Community Sportsplex, Early Years playgroups and nearby parks. My home is pet free and smoke free. I have a large playroom as well as a large yard for outside play. I am a mother of two with 5 years teaching experience as a former elementary school teacher.
I provide a fun learning environment for children of all ages. Our basic day includes: free play, outside time, 2 snacks, lunch, craft, stories, circle time, and other activities. I have a weekly theme and our stories, crafts, songs and activities fit into the chosen theme. Emphasis on preparation for JK/SK expectations is taught using hands-on learning of letters, numbers, shapes, etc...
I know this is a big decision for you and your family; I would like to thank you for taking this time to consider me as your child's daycare provider.
**Please note my hours. Also, July and August I am closed Friday but open 8-5 on Monday.**
