Daycare description / philosophy

When you begin your search for the perfect childcare provider, it can be an overwhelming experience. How do you even begin the search for the person who will be spending so much time with your child? If you are looking for a place where your child will be loved and cared for as a member of an extended family, then you have found the right place. If you are looking for a childcare provided who will engage your child in a rich learning environment, working tirelessly to meet their unique needs, and to support their individual development, you have found the right person.
In my home you will find the perfect balance between the loving and nurturing environment of a home, and the structure and educational environment of a childcare centre or school. Children in my care will be encouraged to develop at their own rate, by engaging in activities that were designed with their interests in mind. Children will find a warm and caring environment here, where they can be loved for exactly who they are.
In my home your child will receive two nutritious snacks, and a nutritious lunch on a daily basis. Your child will be exposed to a variety of educational and fun activities and learning opportunities following the Emergent Curriculum.
I am a certified teacher, with two years of experience working in a daycare centre, as well as a year and a half working as a nanny. I love working with children, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I have one child of my own, a beautiful girl, and we can't wait to invite you into our home so that we can grow and learn together!
