Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

This home child care program creates play experiences and explorations for children that are authentic and invoke their curiousity. Whenever possible activities take place outside and out in the community (walks in the park, library story time visits, play in accessible spacious yard, etc). Games, songs, play centres are developed to appeal to the individual interests of the child. Children will be provided with a variety of opportunities to develop their socialization skills, fine motor skils, gross motor skills, and language through role modeling and age appropriate material.

Breakfast (if specified), snacks, and lunch are provided and all home made without use of any processed food. Communication with children is based on a commitment to respect the child. Clear and predictable expectations are maintained during care giver and child interactions. I am committed to getting to know your child well, ensuring their safety, and providing an engaging and stimulating environment for them. I am an elementary teacher with a Kindergarten Specialist (7 years) and prior experience as an Earlhy Childhood Educator (5 years). I am staying at home this year to open a small home daycare so that I can stay home with my son. I look forward to meeting you!
