Daycare description / philosophy

Hi My name is Amanda Hollahan. I am a mom of 3 beautiful girls, they are 13, 10, and 6. I run a very active daycare lots of walks, park visits, and play in the backyard quite a bit. I have experince with all ages of children. I am also experienced with devolpmental delay, as I have a child with autism.
It is my goal for your child to have fun and play and learn while in my care.
I like to provide healthy but fun meals and snacks. i know how hard it can be to get a child to eat healthy foods so sometimes I puree it into sauces and soups and the child gobble it down and are none the wiser. Babies of course have their food in chopped to smaller sizes or pureed if prefered.
I have a large backyard with a play structure that includes a slide and swings, a playhouse, a large sand area, and for hot days I have a kiddie pool, water table, and sprinkler. I have a shaded sun room in the backyard as well. My home backs onto a green space so nature walks are frequent, also we have 4 parks in the neighbourhood which are great venues for picnic lunches.
I am in the east end of Guelph I offer before and after school to St.John school students only as I go there daily to pick up my own children. I have a dog who loves kids and 2 cats all of which have grown up with my 3 very touchy feely kids they are used to lots of attention. My dog can be very protective of his home and will bark at any adult who comes to the door, my daughter who has autism is bothered by his rather loud bark so during pick up time and drop off time he will be downstairs in my basement.
