Daycare description / philosophy

I have raised two children to adulthood and Dimples 'N Diapers is in its 14th year of operation. I have a Psychology degree with a minor in Child and Family Studies, am experienced in preemie development, have experience with hearing impaired children and have worked extensively in the past with children in the community through Marianne's Place, Scouts Canada and Kortright Hills Public School. I hold an up-to-date police check and CPR/First Aid certification.
In my smoke free home I provide nutritious meals and snacks. You will receive monthly newsletters and calendars of weekly themes and events which include age appropriate crafts & learning, baking, games, play time, dance, music, puzzles, nature walks, outdoor trips (by foot or van) to parks, museums & libraries, and outings with other daycares. I celebrate birthdays and photos are taken for parents throughout the year and posted to our private daycare site that is viewed by invitation only.
Dimples N' Diapers is an extension of each child's family. Love, caring and respect for one another is nurtured and long lasting friendships are created with the children and parents continuing their relationships once they move on to school and are no longer attending the daycare. I encourage each child's independence and acceptance of others, as well as cultivate their self-esteem. The children learn everything they need to know and more for kindergarten and they are more than ready for the big wide world when they leave.
