Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

I am an active mom of 3 children (2 girls school age, and a toddler son). After working with children and families for more than 13 years in social services; I have recently decided not to return to work following my maternity leave. I have decided to become and home day care provider.

Being a mom and given my past work experience; I am commited to providing quality care to your children. The programs I offer are crafts, sensory, music/singing, games, outdoor play (large motor skills), reading, circle time and 1:1 time with the children (activity program to be provided weekly). I am located in the West End, close to a park, splash pad and the West End Rec Centre (library). We love to go for weekly outings (walking only) and nature walks to explore! We live on a quiet, family-oriented street with a fenced in yard and climber; the play room is fully stocked! I offer nutritious meals and snacks (meal plan to be provided weekly).

I believe that all children are individuals and all have their own strengths and needs. I commit to providing enriching programs that strive to meet each child's needs as well as to help each child reach his/her full potential.

I believe the only way to provide the BEST CARE is to form a trusting relationship (between you and I) that is centered upon your child's needs.

I promise to keep my numbers low in order to provide the BEST care possible. I am looking to fill spaces for the summer and for September. I am looking for 2 children full time or 3-4 children part time. I prefer to work Mon-Fri 7:15-5:15 but am willing to negotiate hours based on my availability. I offer reasonable rates and receipts.
