Daycare description / philosophy

Brand new home daycare opening for September on the east mountain. We are located just minutes away from summit park. We are now accepting children for September, earlier if needed, to come, play and learn in a safe, bright home away from home.
Our goal is to enhance learning and development in our children through guidance and play. In addition to this we would like to

· Provide a healthy, safe and secure environment
· Promote a positive self-image in each child by providing an environment that encourages independence, decision making and problem solving
· Help each child develop language skills which will enable expression of thoughts and feelings as well as the opportunity to increase knowledge
· Teach the importance of manors and respect. Helping children to learn to acknowledge other people's feelings.

Our purpose is to achieve these things in children through a daily routine that includes activities such as:
· circle and story time
· arts and creative time
· dramatic play
· fine and gross motor activities
· sports and dance
We are offering a large spacious area that is dedicated to the children and only the children. It consists of a full kitchen, a large living room and three spacious bedroom, which is now a arts and crafts room, a playroom and a sleep room. The day care has a walk out to a large backyard. Our promise is that you children will have a fun and adventurous day, involving learning, playing and just plain fun.
