Daycare description / philosophy

Hello there, Moms and Dads,

My name is Anamaria and I run Love Seedlings, a home daycare in Bridlewood. I'm an experienced early childhood educator, having run a home daycare in the Westboro area since 2016.

I have an Ontario Early Childhood Education diploma as well as a Montessori one. I also have significant experience working with children, including at a Montessori school. You can find more information on my website and Facebook page (see links below).

Because I’m passionate about my job! I love guiding children into this reality. and I invest 100% of my energy in maximizing their learning of fundamental skills.

As an Early childhood educator, I understand your child’s development, all of it. I can guide your child’s cognitive, language, social, and physical development. I am able to set realistic expectations and provide them with the tools to keep on learning and growing.

A little bit about our curriculum.

In the spring, we get caterpillars delivered for our lesson called “Butterfly Life Cycle”. Children get to experience their daily transformation, a wonderful process of life. Once developed, the butterflies are released.

In winter, a petting zoo called The Zoo Crew visits us. The kids love it!

In addition, the kids go outside every single day, rain or shine - unless there is a thunderstorm. I do ask for rain suits and proper gear so the children can enjoy themselves outside.

I believe that encouraging a child to go outside in all types of weather builds resilience.

Also, I use a daycare app called Brightwheel which I update throughout the day with photos and other information for parents peace of mind.

One last thing in case you are still deciding; I usually get someone to help me as soon as I have 5 children enrolled. I’m hoping to keep on doing that.

Currently, I have 1 opening for a child under 2 and another spot for a child over 2. Interested? let’s chat. And we can meet to see if we’re a good match.

My hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. I charge $48 a day. Lunch and snacks not included. As you will see on my Facebook page, my main focus is on creating and implementing activities that enhance your child development.
