Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

Tanja's Daycare is currently full. Please feel free to contact me to be placed on my waitlist. My qualifications include my ECE, current First Aid and CPR and Sign Language Certificate. I have extensive experience working with children of all abilities. This includes 10 years running Tanja's Daycare and 10 years as an Educational Assistant for the Toronto District School Board plus plenty of other experience. I have a structured program outline but also the flexibility to go with the flow. I believe that children learn naturally through play and will guide their development by providing activities that encourage this. I have a huge variety of toys and activities for all areas of development. Activities include circle time, arts and crafts, baking and lots of outdoor and free play! Many of our structured activities are based on our current theme which changes on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Themes are chosen based on the children's interests and abilities. In the summer there will also be trips to the library, local parks and events. Other highlights of Tanja's Daycare include: Main floor playroom Large fenced backyard Nutritious meals and snacks: my house is 100% peanut free and I am experienced in dealing with allergies. References and receipts always provided Care only available on a school-year schedule (no summer, Christmas Break or March Break care) Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5:00pm Rates: $40/day For fun, educational programming tailored to meet your child's individual requirements in a relaxed home setting, please call or email me.
