Daycare description / philosophy

Hi I am a mother three. My girls are 15 nd 17 years and my son is 11. I provide a warm and caring home environment for you little one(s), so you can concentrate on school or work. I am open 7am to 5pm Mon-Fri. I have provided back-up, part-time, casual and on-call care. I have been running a home daycare for over ten years now and really enjoy it! I primarily take preschool children but have experience with kids 0-12 years. I provide nutritious meals and snacks according to Canada's food guide. Generally Lunch and 2 snacks. Menus can adapted to preferences'/dietary requirements of both parents and child(ren). I prefer to serve fresh local meats, fruit and veggies. I can provide an allergy aware environment. Meal plans are posted in my daycare entrance. We have a variety of toys and games available. We have LEGO(in all sizes), cars, trucks, dolls, tool bench, puzzles, games, tons of books, and much more! We have a climber, slide, covered sand box, and ride one toys for outside play in summer. Our Daycare area has a separate entrance, separate bathroom and toy room. We have an area for sleeping. We have a large fully fenced back yard and park right near our house as well as baseball, soccer and football fields! We do educational activities everyday! Including arts and crafts, baking(healthy treats mainly), helping with meal preparation, reading, writing practice, workbooks, singing, dancing, and of course a chance for free play too. We are a play based daycare in accordance with the emergent curriculum in Ontario. We go outside daily(weather permitting). When it is extremely cold/hot we go out for a shorter time or stay in if needed. We are located close to the intersection of Bayridge and Hudson. I cloth diapered all three of my own children and I am willing to do cloth diapers with your child. About ratios.
