Daycare description / philosophy

We provide a safe and stimulating environment and understand that each child is a unique person with unique needs.

Our curriculum is designed to enhance social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Daily activities maximize the learning potential of each child, while providing a warm atmosphere.

Established in 1997, Sunny Day Care is licensed and inspected by the Ministry of Education. Additionally, regular inspections are conducted by the Waterloo Region Health Unit and the Waterloo Region Fire Department.

Our teachers are graduates of the Early Childhood Education Program and are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario. They hold a certificate in First Aid and participate in continuous learning to enhance their knowledge and quality of care. Our qualified staff operate the program under the provisions of the Day Nurseries Act.
