Daycare Openings, Description and Features

Daycare description / philosophy

There will be a part time space available Sept 2019 at my centrally located, cozy, loving, clean, safe, smoke-free, happy, healthy, active daycare. (M/T/Th/F) I am a young grandmother with many years of childcare experience. My CPR/first aid is up to date and I have a background in Guiding/Scouting and medical training. Our meals include fresh foods and a balanced, home cooked menu. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are served.

We are close to parks, one with playground equipment. We attend the festivals at Victoria Park all summer, and find it a wonderful place to enjoy the changing seasons. My program includes daily outdoor and indoor activities and my newsletter to parents lists our themes that change often for learning, crafting and field trip purposes. We travel to the Central Library once a week for storytime and playtime mornings. Occasionally we have playgroup meetings with other home daycares, occasional indoor playgroups and we visit a splashpad in the summer.

We follow a daily routine, but flexibility is key. My daycare hours of business are 8:00am to 5:00pm. My current families will be happy to serve as references to tell you how we have worked together to help their children thrive and grow.
