Daycare description / philosophy

Hi there,I currently have openings for the summer months for my home daycare.I am located in PondMills area. My daycare is on the main floor of my home with a big front window in the playroom. I also have a main floor bathroom and kitchen.Across the street from my home is a Park, Splash Pad and open field that I take the children to everyday. In the summer we go to the splash pad on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a set schedule so that the little ones are on a routine.Everyday we have circle time, filled with learning activities, songs and stories. I also teach through arts and crafts. I work one on one each day with the children to teach them the essentials needed for the school years ahead. I do follow and teach with Montessori teachings. At naptime I have a quiet room prepared for the little ones where I play lullaby music. I also provide health snacks and lunches followed by the Canadian food guide. I don't feed processed food, I follow eat clean guidelines. So your child will have healthy food in my care.I have my CPR, Police cheek. As well as my PSW, and I worked as a family support worker with VON for 5 years prior to opening my daycare. Everyday a journal will go home with your child that I write in so mom and dad can see what their child accomplished that day and ate. For an information package please call Cassandra.
