Daycare description / philosophy

Hi, my name is Sarah!
I operate a school-age program for before/after school care, PD days and school breaks.

It is important for children to have a safe place to go after school where they can unwind from the day, be creative, be active and spend time with friends.

Below are some of the benefits of enrolling your child in the school age program at Sarah's House:
- Nutritious breakfast provided at 8am daily
- Healthy after school snack
- Outdoor time, arts & crafts, science, games, etc.
- Guaranteed PD day, holiday and summer break care
- Care available during school closures (i.e. weather, teacher strike)
- Drop off and Pick up at the school
- Lower ratios than centre based school age programs (max of 1:7 here, max of 1:15 in centres)
- Consistent caregiver so that your child feels more confident and comfortable in care
- A relaxing home environment that provides a nice break from school

Rates are $22/day for before and after school care
Before and after school rate is per child for 7:30-9:00am and 3:30-5:00pm

I provide transportation (walking or in my van) to Wilton Grove PS. If your child requires transportation to/from any other school, you will need to make alternate arrangements.
Children registered in the Before/After school program are given first priority for PD Day, holiday and summer care spaces. If your child is here for a full day, my regular full time rate will apply. Early dismissal days will also fall under the full day rate.
I will provide all meals & snacks during full days of care.
